So here we are in September and despite all his problems and only playing 10 events, Tiger Woods is still number 1.
I seem to have spent most of this year listening to golf presenters telling me that this is the week that Big Phil knocks Tiger off top spot and week after week he fails.
Now don't get me wrong, I like Phil a lot, I like the way he plays and the way he conducts himself and if he got to number 1 I'd be more than happy to see him there.
From what I've seen of Woods' the last couple of weeks he only seems a hot putter away from winning again and when he does, I can see him staying at number 1 for a few years to come.
So my question is, has leftie missed his chance(s)?
Discuss.
