This coming Saturday will be the first round of golf in nigh on 6 weeks, what with work getting in the way and pulling muscles in my back laying flag stones, I've not swung a club for 6 weeks.
Thought Saturday gone was going to be okay, but after getting up my back was still buggered, so not to let Kraxx down I walked the course with him so I could mark his card in the comp. It turned out to be a cracking day weather wise once the drizzle blew over, sun was out and it was most pleasant walking the course and not having to push my trolley or worry about what club to play. I think taking my clubs with me on a Saturday is where I'm going wrong
Walking up the 1st and later on the 10th, 11th and 16th normally with having to push a trolley has me out of breath. I'm not the fittest person on the planet cardio wise, but just walking the course with no trolley, on the aforementioned holes I walked up them no problem, I was not out of breath, so that got me thinking to getting an electric trolley, not sure which one would suit, any good one or bad ones to look at or avoid? Prices seem to be the same across all sites, or they did for the Motocaddy ones I looked at.
My other reason for getting an electric trolley is that apart from not getting out of breath on the uphill holes, it'll save my back somewhat as well.
So this coming Saturday, not swung a club for 6 weeks, it should be interesting, it'll be like starting from scratch which might be a good thing, we'll see.
