Yes, I think it just means that you can do the Wordle on different devices & it will keep your overall score. I haven't bothered because I always do it on the same tablet.

Yes I saw that today and kind of moved past it but just had another look and you can't see your full stats without creating an account. It was always said that when they bought Wordle the YNT might charge for it so perhaps this is the precursor to that...

I did that once when my almost hole in one became a fail after 6 goes. Lasted a day. Not sure they noticed my protest

I won't pay for it though.
