Womans World Rankings

This morning I happened to flick to the World Rankings of the womans game while I was scouring teletext.

My question to the forum is how many folk can list the top 5 in the world??

I would be willing to bet no one will get the top 5,in fact not many will know who is the world number 1 at the moment.

Go on, have a go and see if you can name them......another question actually...is anyone interested?!

I reckon if I did it blind I would have guessed 2 of the top 5 and I aint even heard of 1 of them (No.5).

Erm...I know that there's two fairly hot American birds who are near/in the top five.

That Scottish woman who won the Open last year.

That's it.

In all honesty, I really don't care for women's golf too much. I'll watch highlights (sometimes) if they're on Golfing World, but I really don't find it appealing at all (except for the eye candy, innit )

I have to confess I watched some of the Ladies Golf on TV a couple of days ago, - was the Tour Event from Conwy/Wales.

Golf was solid if unspectacular, but blimey, the eye candy was pretty damed good I can tell you, Ive never seen such well fitting golf garb......

I think Murph is very close. I'm sure that Kerr has recaptured the number one spot from Miyazato. i know that the Womens rankings is all very close and it seems to change after each tournament.

I think Creamer is now in the top ten and Laura Davies isn't........by a long way. Watched a bit of the British Open and actually quite enjoyed it, quite a few of them banged their second on in two on holes over 500 yards long.

Two british girls to look out for in the future, Kelly Tidy and Fiorentyna Parker.

Not overly fussed. I have my favourites (Creamer and Gulbis) and like Melissa Reid (local to Ascot) and other than that not that fussed until Solheim Cup time. I don't know why but I can't warm to any of the Far Eastern golfers. They seem devoid of any personality.
