Have a chance to play there in April. Worth it?

Very wet in the winter and does take time to dry back out. Decent enough course though but a lot of traffic on it so greens not always quick

Depends on the cost and driving time... It’s a conference venue with a course around it, rather than a golf club. Used to play there a while back when we used it for meetings...not been in a while. Some interesting holes, not too bad if in good nick...

Played a few times. Once (was around last April) every fairway was wet and when a ball landed a splash could be seen. One (at the lowest point, probably the 11th) was virtually a marsh, whenI stood on the fairway and the water was almost over my shoes. To be fair it was a very cheap green fee but it's not a course I wish to play often even if it is one of the closest.

The clubhouse has zero atmosphere, I was talking to one of the members and they said after the roll-up they preferred to go to a local pub.
