...but would anyone like to do 18 holes with me tomorrow (16th Aug). Short notice I know but it would appear that my now, ex-playing partner has been told exactly what his day off will consist of by his better half and it doesn't involve golf!

Based in Bury, will travel up-to an hour or will play Stand in Whitefield (nr Bury/Manc) around lunchtime. Would imagine I'd knock it round in less than 100 and would be happy with 90.

And if I don't get even a reply, I'll feel even more of a saddo

I would have gladly played if I had seen this earlier. I too ended up playing on my tod today as my usual playing partners weren't around.

Sounds like he is under the thumb a little to me Bit far for me but hope you find someone somewhere to go round with
