Hi All,
Bit of a query here. My best mate gets married next December, and in a spot of good luck, he has decided his preference for a stag weekend (or in this case full week) is a spot of golf somewhere warm.
Having never ventured anywhere other than Florida, I'm a little out of my depth here and looking for some suggestions from those in the know.
Basically, I'm looking for advice on a good place to go in October/November (2014) for a week. The idea is to play some golf, have some sun, and if its stag-friendly (i.e. isn't a ghost town - though we're not looking for magaluf either!) that would be a real bonus.
I think there will be between 6-10 people going, a wide range of golfing abilities and ages so we're probably more likely to look at good value courses, with perhaps a single round at a premium course.
As i've said, i've never done a proper european golfing holiday so if anyone out there has suggestions of where to go, how much to budget for, flights, hotels, packages - anything, any and all help will be much appreciated! We don't have a destination in mind, so i was hoping to get a view on where is good, where is cheap and where is warm that time of year - preferable one place that ticks all the boxes
Thanks all.
Daniel
