Winter Olympics

I'm not watching a great deal - but the HD coverage is stunning. MAybe it's helped but all these bright primary colours against the whote of snow and ice. Brilliant.
 
Come on, Ed and his team are hardly young but the commentary did brighten up whilst the young Emmily was with them. I enjoyed it but their ability to get competitors names and countries wrong and the partisanship was a little OTT.

Claire Balding is a superb presenter - pretty much the best in the business in sports currently :thup:
 
Find myself strangely hooked by Curling despite not really having a clue to what is going on from a technical point of view.
 
Hopefully Lizzy Yarnold is one run away from a gold now. She's got a huge lead from the 1st run so it's looking good
