Winter is here!

Played 18 yesterday and for the first time this year I wished I had put my mitts in the bag. Four degrees and a chilly wind. Doesn't help when you are stuck behind a 4 ball from the 7th hole onwards and it takes you 3.5 hours to get round when it should only be 2.5 -2.75 hours. It got cold standing about and I could feel both my hands and my core getting cold.

Will have to look out the mitts and snood for the bag now.

sure is... been tzking Rupert for a run on the bike at Lunchtimes, had to dig out the Cycling longs this week.... with shorts it was bloody freezing

Yea, I was just checking the weather forecast for this Saturday and it's saying 7° with a 'real feel' of 4! Might have to debut those wintersof gloves I bought. And dig out the old baselayer.

Was going to play at Beau at the weekend which quite high up, but possible sleet/snow is forecast, looking unlikely.

I was wondering when will it ever stop raining, yeah when it starts snowing

Got the mitts already packed along with a nice woolly hat for the weekend (and waterproofs given the forecast). Not too bad once you get going I find but only if the course keeps moving

Today was the day to bunk off and play... forecast said rain... it's been sunny all day! No doubt 48 hours of heavy rain tonight will shut the course for Saturday!
