No dates but would expect typically November through to end of March

SGU have some offers over winter too, last year there was:
Muirfield £280 4 ball
Troon £200
Prestwick £200 as well i think

had a few others as well, but you have to be an SGU member.

im not its biggest fan most of the year but with weather as it is currently its more than good value at the price really, usually in good nick too

breakfast bap and tea/coffee
use of practice facilities
18 holes on international course
2 couse meal

Or £85 if you want full English breakfast - thats what I've gone for

Defintely need a revisit to Ganton after it beat me up big style on my only visit. Lindrick is a pussy with white hot claws(greens).

It's an ok course but a bit bland - decent price for it though but if it's windy and cold it's a bad day. Let me know if you need a fourth to fill a gap

That is cheaper than a guest rate with TXL, and you don't have to suffer him beating you.

Yeah they have a really good deal on just now.........normally £165 per person in the winter and this includes soup and sandwiches but if you book online you can get it for the bargain price of........£155!! :thup:

Royal Lytham are doing a 4ball winter rate of £420. I really like Birkdale but it can be too tough for the average golfer, I would go for the Lytham deal every time.

Never been to a Golf Tournament before so wanted to play Birkdale before the open so I could say I played where they are playing haha, and can compare how much further they hit it than me!
