Winter Golf Breaks in UK

We are having a winter break to Saunton North Devon.Nice hotel overlooking beach.Golf is incredibly cheap for the quality of courses.Staying in hotel makes playing at Saunton £38 including a meal.Playing Royal North Devon is £30 with 2 Fore 1 vouchers.

If you like links golf then this is the place for a short break.

Yesterday I was looking at an all inc golf resort in Turkey, it has two courses and buggies are included (but reviews say they dont have enough and it ends with the German towel on sun lounger). Was £1000 for me and HID and the flights though worked out at £500, bloody not paying £750 each for a week.

Can I guess that was Cornelia?

It was the Sueno. Think we will end up staying with my folks near Murcia again and pay out of our nose for golf.

Great Kent deal that mind.

St Andrews do a cracking one too but you have to get in fast when it's released in August....done it a few times and well worth it for the Old,Jubilee and New...think it is around £120 with accommo on top which can be as little as £100 for the 3 nights, only B&B mind you.

Can I ask where you are staying? Saunton looks an interesting option.

Sounda far too expensive - have you looked at Golfbreaks or Your Golf Travel....it should be less than £500 inc 4/5 rounds of golf unless you're going in the 'wrong week'....check out the Sirene Hotel/Antayla Golf Club - it's all inclusive and golf is top draw...

There was a good deal in this months GM at the belfry, one night two rounds for £119 I think. Also another deal at Le Touquet, 2 nights, 3 rounds, including chunnel crossings for £130.

Saunton Sands Hotel. You can get full information on their website.Think we are paying £230 fot three nights dinner bed and breakfast, and 10% off golf at Saunton,East and West courses.
