Grand Slam Winner
Im back in the land of the lying b's. Aside from work, and people trying to poison me at every meal time, I'm having a great time.
In my hotel, none of the power sockets work, so I have a choice of unplugging the lights, and charging my stuff whilst sitting in the dark, or having the lights on, with nothing to do. I can only plug my adaptor in by jamming a screw driver into the socket first. So far I have avoided electrocution, which may actually be preferable to staying the night here.
There is a shop downstairs selling dodgy stuff. Named brand golf shirts, base ball hats (my favourite of which is a titleist visor with a wig sewn into it so it looks like you have loads of hair - titleist should really consider making this, as it is beyond cool).
I have a choice of golf clubs I can buy. Ping k15, titleist 909, vokey wedges, a scotty Newport no.2, a selection of tm irons, and a complete set of rbz woods, hybrids and drivers.
The most expensive item is the rbz driver, at 150 rmb. At 12 to the pound, I have my doubts about its genuineness though.
They also do footjoy golf shoes and gloves. I might buy a pair of shoes, as they might actually be water proof. Some things you just can't copy that badly.
I can also buy Bally work shoes. These are so badly made its laughable, but then I have never seen any real ones to compare them too.
About to go out to dinner with a slimy git for some food and beer. Well, I say beer, as the fake bud I am drinking now is only 3% which makes the real stuff taste good. This is not a good thing, as bud sucks.
I am also drinking it out of a tea cup, as there are no glasses in the room.
I could move on to a small bottle of red wine. Produced and bottled by sino-French, a joint venture dynasty winery. Hmm, can't wait. I'm guessing 6%, as there is nothing stated on the bottle. Probably Sarsons, under a different label.
