Why does the high street struggle

Found a Dishwasher at John Lewis and liked it. Obviously liked the more expensive one than the one we need. Saw it listed on some other retailer at a cheaper price. Called JW and asked if they would do a price match. Two days later got a call from the JL nearest store (about 20 miles) saying they will do a price match, so won my custom. Now waiting for delivery. Happy Days..

£85 for fitting + £9 for disposal... My local plumber said he will fit it for 50 quid.
