why can't I quote?

I don't seem to be able to quote a previous post when I 'go advanced'

The quote appears but it's just in normal text, not the advanced.

Do I need to adjust my settings?

Maybe no help but I just use the REPLY WITH QUOTE , then hit the use the POST QUICK REPLY button , only time i lose the quote box is if im editing the post & accidently remove one of the bracket thingys [ ] them thingys

Sorry mate i have never tried the GO ADVANCED thingy

The circled bit brings up QUOTE][/QUOTE] (with the first [ missing) then you put the text in between.

For this message all I hit was the reply with quote button circled in blue.

I think I'd also turned of the small Quote box on the right hand side next to reply with quote.

Thats for multi quote, if you click two or three of the boxes and on the last message you want to quote it will bring up all the ones you have ticked see below.

Try messing about with it here and I can shift this once you are happy. :clap:
