Who's going to The Open next year??

I will be there for the 4 days,have friends who stay in Cupar so i crash there for the duration.

John you mentioned staying in Edinburgh is that the best place to get a b&b for a day or two for the open?. At Troon I stayed the week in Glasgow and that worked realy well

Edinburgh will be expensive, but has the advantage of rail links to St Andrews if not taking the car. If you don't particularly want to stay in Edinburgh, then try Dundee and the surrounding areas.

Spare room in my house £200 a night with luxury travel thrown in ( lift in my car) its only 15 - 20 minute drive. . If your looking at Dundee you better start now as it gets booked up quick, try some in Broughty Ferry , nice place with loads of pubs and places to eat its in the good bit of Dundee right next to the water, Jollies hotel is good there.

Sorry - my fault - had my first alcoholic drink in three and a half years (mate and his wife are expecting after nearly 8 years of IVF and several miscarriages) so didn't read it properly - I'm bad and thats why you shouldn't drink!
