Harsh but true, in the 80's when she burst onto the scene, she was fantastic, but then the price of fame caught up with her, as it does with so many talented but fragile people. Who get so "Powerful" that people cant say NO to them

Her attempts to regenerate her career recently were poor

Most people expected Amy Winehouse to end her life early, I expect that Whitney was a bit further down the list, but definately on the list

Not sure of what was the cause of her death. Drugs or whatever, still very sad news. A icon of the 80's who's songs are remembered and still sang nowadays. (X Factor auditions?)

In spite of it all, you really wanted that "One Moment in Time" where somebody could say "Count on Me" and really mean it. So...in your process of "Getting to Happy", you turned to God and said "I Look to You" and He replied "I Will Always Love You". Now, you are experiencing "The Greatest Love of All". Fantastic singer,but lots of question marks about the way she lived her life and conducted herself.I don't buy into all this "price of fame" crap,there are children all over the third world starving to death,and children in hospice's and hospitals dying of horrible disease's everyday of the week who will never get a chance at life,and yet celebrities have the world at there feet but choose to abuse themselves and waste life ?

Very sad indeed, but wasn't it because of the person she got involved with that got her on to drugs? A case of mixing with the wrong kind of people, as is so often the case these days.

Good, though not great. She was destined to sing being born into what could be considered soul royalty, but never did anything to extend music boundaries in the way Winehouse did.
