Which shoes??

It my birthday next week and HID may treat me to some new shoes. I have last years Nike Air Saddle at the mo and are over a year old. I played a round on Saturday and after 12 holes my feet were feeling a tad sore..So I think it maybe time to change.

Price up to £60 and don't mind last years models.

What FJ should I try or avoid?

With a budget of only £60.00 your choice will be limited, you could get a good pair of Dunlop shoes or you could contact that Dufferman guy cos he has been selling all his used & unwanted clothes, he might have an old set of shoes going cheap.

Have a look on Clubhouse Golf, in 2 minutes I found 9 pairs that fall under 60 quid and could be considered decent.
There are deals out there, you just need to look.

I know the deals are there. I just wanted some feedback on what ones to avoid or any good suggestions.

Its swings and roundabouts, I wouldnt recommend FJ on grounds that quality had diminished due to returning 4 pairs of AQL in just 5 months. Never had issue with Adidas despite people having problem with the heel.
Good reviews of Puma for comfort but looks are iffy. Mizuno make good shoes but they are rare.
Street shoes have divided opinion and not my cup of tea.

Can't knock my adidas adicomfort 2 shoes picked them up from American golf for just under £50 real comfy slightly narrow fit but fine for me.

If you can find Nike Lunar Controls for your budget then go for them. Current model is about £89 the previous model should be a good deal cheaper and still great, comfortable shoes.

For the extra £29 I would advocate the Nike Lunar Control II for sure.

Was in the same situation a couple of weeks ago, wore these on Saturday for the first time and they are like slippers, very supportive, very comfortable

Clubhouse golf have lots of excellent deals on last years models, including Lunarcontrolls which are very nice. I recently got a pair of Pumas off there, first Puma's I've ever had and they are very light and very comfortable. These are the ones I got.
