Parmo, sounds like you're falling into the male macho 'driver is everything' way of thinking, dont panic we all do it.
All these 460cc drivers are much of a muchness..honestly, I should know (see other post).
I would advise you spend cash on decent wedges and a putter and work at least 75% on short game. If you shoot 75 for example you will likely hit only about 13 drives and something like 40-50 pitches, chips and putts. Driving is the easy part of golf.
p.s. Go for the Hi-Bore XL, it's not illegal as someone suggested.

Yes birdieman. I found that one of the highbore XL's is non-conforming, i wasnt told the full story at the time of my post. they dont make it easy. heres a a link to the differences. http://www.usga.org/equipment/images/clubs/20070381.jpg

So be careful if you do opt for this club

BTW, at the price they want for the F-Speed at pricebuster golf it would be criminally insane not to purchase it. That is just sooooooo much club for the price of the Maxfli or Slazenger crap you get at JJB.

I am stunned at the price.

Clean that up a bit john then that would actually sound like one of the muppets on the slazenger advert on the golf channel.
