Whatsapp phone calls from India

Anyone else receiving them?

I have had 2 in the last 10 days - from different numbers both having avatars of respectable looking non-Indian females. Obvously I didn't answer the calls but just wondered if it's just me.

I've had quite a few mobile calls that I've ignored which I tend to do if I don't recognise the number. They leave voicemails in Chinese.

I've had a few to my work phone WhatsApp from various parts of the world. I just ignore them and block them afterwards. I think they use WhatsApp as a lot of phones now have a Spam identifier on the normal phone calls.

There’s a programme on the telly at the moment. Seen it a couple of times where people in India are scamming people
Out of there money. Somehow these scammers calls are being listened to by people tracking them down. It is unbelievable that people are still willing to “ pay” for something when a cold caller calls.
