We've been talking about this in the office this afternoon and have wound up humming all of the damn songs ever since.

The guy who suggested "Agadoo" by Black Lace now has his computer terminal inserted in a place where its going to be really difficult for him to swing a club this weekend.

Mine would be "Letter from America" by the Proclaimers. What are yours?

Mr Blobby, was in the charts when lad was a baby, he loved it and I've never recovered!

Virtually anything by a "Boy" or "Girl" Band....

Virtually any Motown song then……...?

The new Bond theme by that wingeing Sam Smith. Really grates on me. (As do all of his songs)

That one is growing on me, especially after the film.

I'll nominate "Hot, Hot, Hot" by Arrow. Couldn't go anywhere at the Notting Hill Carnival without hearing it.

That God-awful "I wasn't expecting that" song that seems to be everywhere at the moment.. Tripe of the highest order... Oh, and any cover version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah (other than by Jeff Buckley).. My daughter was named after that song and ever since, it's been heard all over the bloody place...

I'll throw in a few

Shaddup your face by Joe Dolce (but at least it psissed Midge Ure off by stopping Vienna getting to No.1)
The birdie song (do your own golf gag there please)
There's no-one quite like Grandma by Smiff.. sorry St.Winifred's School Choir
Agadoo by Black Lace

And the re-make of "Take on me" by some dreadful boy band.

I will survive

It is a common fact that every UK woman knows all the words of this song by the time she is 19.

Mine is that current one that says "lets Marvin Gaye and get it on".

Listen to that song and tell me it shouldn't be in the final scene in a Shrek movie when Shrek and his bird have a dance.
