Like others, 4.00am for a 72-holes in a day challenge a few years back.
It was at Studley Wood in Oxfordshire on a beautiful spring morning and was thoroughly enjoyable.
Knackered at 9.30 in the evening though when I walked off the final course. Returned to my Travel Lodge room to enjoy the cans of Ruddles I'd left there earlier only to find one of the staff had nicked them all!
