Even though Tiger didn’t win this year’s U.S. Open, it’s still fun to see what he was playing. (We should really find out what was in Lucas Glover’s bag). While Tiger’s setup doesn’t change very often, the glaring change is the 10° Driver

Here’s what TW used at Bethpage 2009

Driver: Nike SQ Dymo (10°) with a Mitsubishi Diamana White Board 83x shaft
Fairway woods: Nike SasQuatch Sumo (15°, 19°) with Mitsubishi Diamana Blue Board 103g shafts
Irons: Nike Forged Blades (3-PW) with True Temper Dynamic Gold X100 shafts
Wedges: Nike Victory Red (56°), SV (60°) with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts
Putter: Titlelist by Scotty Cameron Newport 2
Ball: Nike One Tour

He usually uses an 8° driver, doesn't he? Or has he changed since the injury?

I always enjoy the 'what's in the bag' section of the magazine.

I'd like it if the commentators would talk about the clubs during rounds too.

I'm sure the driver was a deliberate decision to play something a little more forgiving. With his power he can still get really good distance with his driver and his stock shot of the high fade is much easier to execute with a 10deg than an 8 or 7.5 which I though he used before. Seems like it's paying dividends.
