What's everyone doing with the bank holiday weekend.

So was just wondering what everyones got planned for the bank holiday weekend?

Golf?

Boozing?

Stuffing there face with easter eggs?

Or unlucky enough to be working?

Friday: Nothing planned as such yet but i think a day in the beer garden may be in order.

Saturday: Watch the mighty everton stuff the mancs on sky then most likely the beer garden again!

Sunday: A round at woodham with the old man and a friend. Aint played there for ages and really like the course so looking forward to it. No doubt followed up by a few beers in the sun afterwards.

Monday: Sobering up ready for work on Tuesday morning. Might get out for a round later on in the afternoon when the course has got a abit quiter.

My weekend starts tonight, so round to friends for dinner - banging out of that a little early though as there's a little North London Derby tonight..... I certainly hope you're right about the Toffee's pal.

Golf tomorrow morning and early doors Friday.

Easy days at work Saturd/Sunday, in for a few hours on Monday morning and then out for a round in the afternoon - it's going to be a good few days and i'm buzzing already for it!

3 rounds in 5 days - that's how I like my weeks to unfold!!!

Friday - Can't play cos of injury so will work til lunchtime.

Saturday - Again no golf so will work then meet the lads when they come off the course for a beer and a craic about the evenings activities which is a trip to a night time race meet.

Sunday - recover from the ales on Saturday and spend afternoon with family eating and drinking in the sun hopefully.

Monday -Other half away all day and I can't golf so may as well work until mid afternoon.

Got the in-laws down this weekend (and next week!) so it looks like this:

Friday - Tiling our two bathrooms (never done it before, should be fun luckily FIL has experience). Then stopping to watch Forest stuff Leicester City in the afternoon

Saturday - More tiling as it will probably be a two day job . Then pausing for scum vs. blues then more tiling.

Sunday - Probably no golf, unless I'm allowed to sneak away, but I doubt it, we'll probably have to take the Out-laws out for lunch to thank them for helping with the tiling. And it's Glaws vs. Sarrys in the battle for 2nd place in the Rugger. Mon' the Glaws!

Monday - nowt planned but maybe early birthday drinks (birthday on Wednesday)

I hope I get out on the course at least once and I hope there is plenty of beer involved.

Saturday - Round of the golf in the afternoon, then drinking in the evening.

Sunday - In laws, because i played golf Saturday!!

Golf on Friday & Saturday or Sunday. We have a par comp called the Haig Cup. You have to play two rounds but can play any two days you like.

Apart from that I expect there's a few jobs at home that need my attention and the dogs will need a walk ( or swim if it's hot)

Friday - some of the wife's friends are coming over and the wife wants to visit somewhere 'touristy' nearby. Good grief! A bank holiday Friday and she wants to go somewhere touristy. Stupid .........!

Sat - not allowed to go and play golf for some reason I can't remember.

Sun - Ditto.

Mon - Ditto.

Friday - Golfing up at Morecambe with splashtryagain from here first thing. A friend of HIDs birthday night out later on.

Saturday - Take my daughter to the park/beach/front if it's nice in the morning then golf again in the afternoon.

Sunday & Monday - As penance for enjoying myself there's a ton of jobs to be done in the garden to tart it up before selling the house. If the sun shines I don't mind too much being outside for a couple of days.

Some of us have 11 days off starting on Friday. Going for a few after work on Thursday but wont be going too mad.

Friday - Trying out a course with a view to joining.

Saturday - Do very little. Probably sit in a huff as Mr William Hill takes another £10 of my hard earned off me.

Sunday - Were playing Celtic. It's the most important Old Firm game since the last one.

Monday - Hoping for a nice day and maybe take a trip to the beach.

Rest of the week I don't think I'll be doing much, probably get in some trips to the range to prepare for Turnberry Kintyre course a week on Monday.

my plans for the bank holiday weekend are to break 90.....


playing Friday & Monday, one of which is at a par 67 course so fair chance there!........
I notice the weather forecast for Friday has just taken a turn for the worse!

Saturday the mrs & young un going to a party so that'll be a nice couple of hours for me with a bag of balls & my wedges on the field.


In between that fun there'll be some getting the house ready to go on the market.
No pub tho' - due a dry weekend..

No plans for Sunday and Monday but the grass will need to be cut on one of them.

Thursday – No beers after work with the lads, (well maybe a sneaky one ) then home for dinner with HID, bottle of wine and relax in the garden then in front of TV.

Friday – Fry up for breakfast then cut the grass and tidy the garden for an afternoon BBQ lunch/dinner with HID and a few Beers/Ciders

Saturday – Swindle then I am staying up the club for lunch and taking my 12 y/o cousin for a round in the afternoon.

Sunday – Swindle then a few beers up the club and watch the football.

Monday – 1st match of the summer knock-outs.

Saturday pairs 4BBB comp, then putting stuff back in garage.

Sunday getting stuff out of loft, cleaning it, and putting it in the garage.

Monday, would play golf but there is a mixed shotgun mobbing the course. Great. Happens every bank hol. Might try to sneak out later.

All the while watched over by the Mother in law, who has now moved in for good. It is like being stalked.

So instead, will be doing something 'useful'.
