A 7 wood is a good idea, but if you want a hybrid I'd suggest a Ping Rapture 23/24 deg.
I've got the 18 deg and its the easiest club Ive ever hit.

Its not the V2, so cant vouch for that model

7 wood is great (about 180 yard carry). As a comparison I hit my callaway x14 7 iron 150 yard carry.
I don't carry a 3,4 or 5 iron. I carry 5 wood, 7 wood and 9 wood
