If money was no object what GPS measuring device would you suggest?

Alot of people seem to be going for the Garmin watches at about £140 and are impressed.

I'd spend the money on lessons and judging distance by 150 yd markers, pin positions and playing conditions.

GPS should be banned, unlike Belly Putters which are the best invention in the world

Just recieved my golf buddy from online golf, reduced from £280 to £150, bargain of the century, well impressed

Assuming the 150's are correct. Some course I have played recently have been 15-20 yards out and that's problematic in itself.

Well spotted.

I found a supposed 150 on mine that was 164 by skycaddie.

No wonder I kept getting clagged up in the soft apron to that green. :(

A hillman and a shotmiser do me. Don;t need to turn them on. Just hit the ball a few time pick it up record a ding and walk to the next hole. They look impressive hanging from the bag.

Seriously though. The Shotmiser is great but I can use the lazer on any course I play regardless of mapping.

Thanks for all your comments. I will have a detailed look at all the products suggested and see what ticks the boxes as they say.

I've got the Bushnell Laser V2 Tour so you get an exact measurement to the pin as I think some green staff don't get the flag colours right at times and their interpretation of the middle is somewhat to be challenged. Also when looking across at 150 markers and then knowing its 162 yards to the pin, its a different shot all together.

I am also looking for a Garmin or SkyCaddie though for hazards that cannot be seen at times like ditches running across fairways etc, I think a GPS then is a match saver.

The Tesco direct for the Garmin look to be the best value on the current market.
