What kind of BBQ do you prefer?

As an avid user of the BBQ I would have to vote charcoal. Use my Weber all year round, do the roast in it every Sunday. It is particularly good for fatty meats, lamb,duck, goose. Outdoor air has a higher moisture content and helps prevent joints from drying up.
 
What a cracking thread.

I used to be a 'must be charcoal' type of person but invested in a gas BBQ as it is significantly more practical.
Being able to BBQ your food in minutes instead of having to wait for the coals to be ready is an advantage I am willing to sacrifice my man points for.

It also means you don't have to justify doing a whole BBQ, but can quickly do some food for just you and HID.

But ... I'm not paying £2k for a top of the range weber!
