The most I've paid was £135 for Woburn, I'd love to play Old Head Of Kinsale and that's about £260 I think.

I'd pay £500 to play Augusta.

Most I've payed is £35 and that's as high as I'll go in the current economic climate given that you have to factor in fuel and food costs (further you go, the longer your away so need feeding or a night out)

Just stumped up £135 for the Woburn meet for two rounds on what should be top notch courses, which is a good deal. Before that £95on deal at the Grove which I think was good value,so £100 around my limit.I don't think any club can justify green fees more than that.

I played footy at Anfield 2 years ago and paid £460, it was a dream, and I'll remember it for all my life.

If I was near Augusta, someone offered it for me for a few grand and I had the money - damn right I would.

The missus would also tell me to go for it.

Most ive paid is approx £55....abroad (normal price £100 )......most I would pay is around £130 for the likes of St Andrews or Old Head in Ireland.................most ive payed in Britain is around £25 local............wouldnt be keen on paying much more than that local, when there are so many cheaper deals around.

I paid £330 to accompany a friend who bought a 2 ball at Queenwood at a charity auction - made me wince but knew I would probably never get another chance. An invited round at Loch Lomond was also expensive given only 1 round - but well worth it given 2 nights staying there, food and taxis to and from in Range Rovers - in total cost about £200 for plane etc. I think it was £185 for the day at Royal St Georges - after this, the most I have paid is around £110 at the Berkshire (more like £160 now). Luckily got to tick of many good courses on corporate days or good deals or societies when they were cheaper - although corporate days are now out due to compliance reasons

In the UK, I would not pay huge money as you can publicly access nearly everywhere and I have played the two difficult ones. If Augusta, Pine Valley or Cypress Point was on the cards, I would raid the piggy bank!
