On the old forum I could arrange threads so that the latest posts appeared first, very useful. Don't seem to be able to do that on the "improved" forum.
What happened to all the preferences?

It's still being migrated across to xenforo from the old guff forum software. I'd wait until tomorrow afternoon to see how it looks then.

I am finding jump to new unreliable at best, mostly close to useless. I guess i can wait and see how it pans out tomorrow.

If it's the first time you've been on a thread on this platform then "new" is all, so the jump button moves you to the start of the thread.
Once a new post goes on a thread the title is highlighted and when you click on it you go straight to the newest unread posts...
