What clubs make a full set

Hello

I am new to golf and am looking to gradually build a full set of clubs.
What does a full set consist of ?

Whatever gets it in the hole in the fewest shots!

It is a bit of a length of string but generally

Driver, 3 & 5 wood 3 - pw, gap and sand wedge then putter would be a fairly standard bag I guess, but then personal preference comes in and you could swap out longer irons for hybrids etc etc etc.

it all depends what kind of thing you are looking for?

personally i carry a driver, 3 wood, 18*hybrid 23*hybrid 5-sw irons 60*wedge putter

alot of whats in your golf bag is personal prefernce just dont carry more than 14 clubs. everyone is different some like a lot of wedges other like a collection of woods.

In the old days it would be driver, 3W, 5W, 3-SW and putter. A lot of people have ditched the 3 iron (and maybe the 4) for hybrids as they are easier to hit and some prefer not to carry a 5 wood. You might want to plug the gap between the PW (usually 44-47 degrees of loft) and the SW (around 56) with a gap wedge such as a 50 or 52.

Its about what suits you. Why not have a chat with your club pro or one of the pros at your local range and see what they suggest

you'll find complete sets of golf clubs on ebay at much cheapness.i just sold a full set for just over £20 and that consisted of

driver,3 wood,5 wood,3/4 hybrid,4-sw,putter and carry stand bag with duel straps.great starter package and there's plenty more on there.

Over the last four months i have gradually built up some wilson clubs and these are :

12 degree Shockwave Driver
3 and 5 fybrid woods
4H fybrid
19.5 fybrid
5-9 D11 graphite shaft irons
sw and pw D11 graphite shaft irons
and lastly a 8338 wilson putter


Is there anything else you could see i would need ?

I was going to get a 3 and 4 iron to complete my set as they did not come with the irons ?

Looks like you've got everything there really.
Now you need to remember something...
If you want to get better, practice.
New clubs won't make you better.

I am getting out about twice a week at the moment and really enjoying it so hopefully my game will improve.
I am going to start looking into lessons now i think.

The sooner the better.
Before any swing faults become too ingrained.

Do you think it would be worth me getting the 3 and four irons while they are still available ?

if you got hybrids personally no...
hybrids basicsally replace the long irons and are a lot easier to hit. Again its all down to personal preference
