What club, gizmo, or gadget really met the manufacturers' claims ?

A three degree driver - they said I couldnt get it airbourne. They were right!

As for gizmos, I use the swingyde and the old putting string. Both very simple yet efective.

Oh, and Bobs V easy of course! Thats the best!

DX2 golf balls, long but with plenty of feel around the greens.

My Go-Kart, did everything it was meant to very well.

Hybrid clubs in general, easier to hit than long irons and useful in all sorts of lies.

Every manufacturer prmises the earth

What have you bought over the years that actually did what it said on the tin ?

apologies sev, we seem to have ruined your question with childish humour :D serious answer, after slating it over the past few weeks my ping k15 driver is now my favourite club, after having a lesson, im now driving the ball the best i ever have, it,s straight flight technology claim seems to be working , for now

The surefit technology in my 910 driver.
When I first got it I had it set on most draw and highest loft but as my swing is improving I have set it up in a more neutral position and its working well.
Its easy to use and very effective as titleist claim in my opinion.

Just to sing their praises again but MD's wedges with the milled faces really do stop/spin the ball faster than clubs twice their price.

Have to agree with that. Thing is companies like MD and Benross do not have massive add campaigns make over the top claims, they just move along quietly producing kit that does what you want it to

Square clubs did hit the ball straighter, but I'm not doing straight this season.

Putting mirrors are fantastic and help you get set-up in the best way.
Prostance is an effective and simple training aid.
V-Easy is a must for anyone who wants to improve their putting stroke and very quickly simplifies and improves your technique.
