What a Disappointment.

At the end of each month in 2009, I looked forward to turning the page of my GM calender to reveal the next Kevin Murray photograph of a golf course giving me that 'wish-I-was-there' feeling. I'm sorry I won't be able to feel the same about the 2010 calender with photographs by Paul Severn. I'm sure that Paul Severn is an excellent photographer, but he has somehow managed to instil a feeling of 'don't-want-to-go' into the collection of fairly miserable pictures of what are lovely golf courses. Even the picture of a beautiful tropical island course on the front cover looks like it's in the middle of a hurricane. Give us some fantasy Paul. I don't want to see courses at their dull desolate worst every month, I want to see them at their best.

Thanks for the calender anyway GM.

You're right Slugger, it's a bit petty, but I do like to raise the standards if possible. Also, I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

I think he captures the drama and serenity in pretty much all of the pictures. My only slight criticism is that there are no names on the last 2 frames after December.

Count yourself lucky, at least you get a GM calendar unlike us poor overseas subscribers - who pay more, and get less!!

Decent enough pictures but they seem to be of a landscape that happens to have a green on it somewhere - not really "golf" photos.
