Played Westerwood at Cumbernauld yesterday. Before teeing off told that although the course had a few wet patches it was in good condition.
Perhaps the sight of other players finishing their round with mud up to their knees should have warned me but the wet patches extended from the 1st tee to the 14th green (when we walked off).
The water wasn't so much casual as constant. I only had one shot where I didn't have to take relief from water and that even included side hill lies!
Oh and when we did get back to the Clubhouse all the golf staff (It's a hotel 'resort') had gone home and the Spa staff wern't interested in our complaint!
Avoid like the plague.
