West Kilbride 07/09/12

Treated myself to a game at West Kilbride today and managed to pick decent enough day on the links. I also managed a low score of the year knocking it round in 71 blows, level par off of the whites.

Nice looking course that Craw. The Clubhouse does look impressive too.
Ive never seen links course looking as green as they do this year.

I have played WK many times and I have to say it's very rarely anything but green.Although it is beside the sea the turf is almost a hybrid between parkland and links.... a bit like Dunbars turf.

Cracking wee track all the same though.

I joined WK at the start of the year and been very impressed with it. From the condition of the course, variety of competitions every week and the clubhouse it's a cracking club to join.
