I've got my tickets for wentworth through but I cant see which zone I have to park in, or can I just park anywhere on the day?

Any help much appreciated.

As far as I know from the 2 times that I've been, just drive in and after showing your ticket you will be directed where to go. I'm going on Sunday so will be getting there early, otherwise you have to walk miles from the far out parking areas.

Sorry for the thread hijack but it's slightly related.

I didn't get tickets online and they've now closed the advanced booking. I'll be fine buying tickets on the door right? They won't sell out?

Also, what time do people recommend getting down there. Ideally I want to find a spot and sit there all day. 8am?

Cheers

If you're going by car it would be best to get there as early as possible. As I mentioned in other post to Minty, getting there later means parking further away.

Once you're in there will be plenty of room to sit either along a fairway, around the greens, some of which have the tiered seating. The best one of course will be surrounding the 18th green.

Sneds, you can buy tickets on the door so to speak but i believe they are £30.

Golfmmad, thanks for the advice. We are getting there for 7am as we have to get past Heathrow so dont want to get caught in the traffic.

I overheard some people talking today up there saying that ticket sales were up 37% and they were going to be rammed.

If you don't have tickets I'd get up there early, also like its been said it makes parking a hell of a lot easier.

I walked the dogs around Wentworth last night. Gotta say it looks fantastic! I'm going on the Sunday, HID parents live on the estate, if anyone gets really stuck with parking give me a call (pm me and get my mobile number) and ill sort you out.

Can't wait to play the course for myself on the 6th June! I reckon ill be lucky to break 110.

when I went I was directed to the players entrance, I had my clubs in the back but for some reason wouldn't let me in!
they misdirected a whole stream of cars.

If memory serves, the next entrance down from the BMW owners put me into a car park right next to the 2nd green. I got there about 7.15 - 7.30, already a lot in the car park but got a good viewing spot and that's a brilliant place to start your watching - that elevated par 3 to an elevated green. thereafter just pick your match and follow around. food overpriced as usual.

oh and there were already delays on the 3rd tee!

I love that BMW owners get their own car park!

I imagine at the end of the day everytime someone unlocks their car 10 more with the same radio frequancy will open too!
