I decided to have a round today as I thought I can get up to the range over the Christmas period a few times and not played on the course for 4 weeks and since my 2 lessons.
I started par/par then bogey bogey (not bad really and new set up and swing felt ok, not perfect but ok)
Then I started to top a few and thin a few and over think a little.
Ended up +12 on the Front 9.
Start of the back 7 (winter course) was par/par/par/+1/+2/+2/+1, ended up +19 through 16 holes =27 points. Nothing spectacular but considering I have a new set up/grip/swing I am very pleased with my round. When the swing was smooth it felt good, but to many swing thoughts.
In hope that when then new season comes I'll have it mostly engrained.
Next round on wednesday! Now bring on the turkey and pigs in blankets!!!
