The Edinburgh Bubble has been there a long, long time. I remember looking way back in '96 for a new house, moving from our 2 bed flat. It was hard enough then to find what you wanted at a price you could afford. Ended up moving just out of Edinburgh. Crazy thing is, the flat we sold has since sold for more than three times what we got for it in '96. Absolutely crazy !

I am aware that Edinburgh and Aberdeen have their own little housing markets, that is reflected in higher salaries in those cities.
But that should not screw the whole country, as London does to England.
you are talking drivel.

I didnt compare Scotland to Bethnal Green! So again, as you did in the referendum thread, you are throwing out nonsense and misdirection thinly masquerading as a fact. This will affect everyone, even you in your Ayrshire village. Anyone who thinks it wont is mistaken and easily led.

It won't affect me.

Explain why you THINK it will and i'll explain WHY it wont

if you are naive enough to think that a severe tax hike wont affect every person in Scotland whether they have a mortgage/property or not, then a full explanation I fear will fall on closed ears. Plus it's really rather obvious...to most.

Well as far as i can read the tax hike is on house purchases, this will only affect those who buy houses where the new tax bracket is higher than the old stampt duty tax. Now if i have missed something then please explain, i'm open minded to reason.

The break even figure for buyers is £325,000.
That means anyone buying a house UNDER £325,000 will pay less than the current tax.

'Every person in Scotland', I don't think so.
