Being on holiday when its snowing does strange things to you. For instance this afternoon I farted about on youtube watching different golf swings. (yes youtube looking at swings, not another site looking for swingers!)

Anyway I happened to watch a clip of the Wee Welsh Wizard and instantly took notice. What a natural free flowing swing that man had, boy its a great swing!

One of my all time favourite players.

Love the way he just swings it and hits it. No fuss, no bother.

Was gutted when he was penalised for having 15 clubs at the Open in 2001 after starting with a tap in birdie. I had a feeling his name was on the trophy that year. Shame.

Hes a messy drinker. That episode on the balcony with the champers and snot firing out was one of the funniest things.

His swing is also great to watch. He was a wee bit before my golf time.

I went down to the Scottish Open at Gleneagles in 1987 or 1990 with some friends and watched him for a while. It was one of the years he won. Not sure which now.

It was the first time I'd been to a pro event. I seem to recall him being 4 under after the front 9 on day 1, which took 3 hours even then. What a striker of the ball he was. Couldn't believe how sweet his swing was..... although I have to admit to following Seve round for most of the day.
