i have sent my cleveland wedge 588 rtg to be loft to be adjusted by a pro from 60 degree to 64 degree. anyone done this?

They gave you the normal warning I hope? Anything over 2 is risky, although a forged wedge is probably the least risky bend.

My 52 and 56 are both delofted. 1 degree to get bounce and flight just right. Going up 4 degrees is a lot,you're adding a lot of bounce for such a lofted club

Bounce will be change by the same amount as loft - so an additional 4 degrees!

I had a 52 bent to 51, just to make my yardage gaps better.
As above, most lob wedges are low bounce for a reason and you'll be adding 4 degrees to it.

I've only had a 56 delofted to 55 and it's a forged club so wasn't a problem.
If you want a 64 why not buy a 64 instead of risking a perfectly good club?

TBH, you are screwing up a perfectly good club. As stated, you will add 4 degrees of bounce which will make it very risky when you try to slide the club under the ball which is the whole point of a lob wedge in the first place. If you really feel you need a 64 wedge (which you don't but that's your choice) then just buy one.

had a 52 bent to 50, bridged the gaps in my wedges nicely, its a forged wedge so was no issue

I sit firmly in the bob camp here, technique first then messing around with fineness.
My set goes 47, 52, 56. When I don't get within 20 feet its because of a poor shot/technique, not 1 or 2* of loft.
