Hi All
First post - new to the forum
I’ve played golf since I was a kid (now 27) but football has been my main priority up until recently and I’ve decided my body can’t take the physical demands anymore due to various injuries. Now that I’ve got my life back, I’m going to give it to golf !
I’ve just been fitted for my first ever set of new irons, a driver and a hybrid, and I’m not sure what to fill my bag with now. The irons are 5-GW , GW is 50 degrees. Should I be looking for a 54 deg sand wedge and 58 degree lob wedge ? I assume getting fitted for these will be beneficial due to the different types of loft/bounce combinations ?
I also recently bought a KS1 putter from Costco Just to try it out and while it does feel really good compared to my ancient cobra, I’d like to try other putters to compare it to. What should I be looking at in a similar price bracket ?
Apologies for the long post!
