I have set up a very basic website for my club - I'm being modest .... I think it is the doggy's ballocks because I'm an IT stupid OAP!!

However, on the results page I show the first, second and third place with the relevant scores and then advise the golfers to go to howdidido.com for the full results.

My big problem is how do I get the system to direct them to the howdidido site when they click on howdidido.com???

I know you all do it on here to allow me to see something you are highlighting so I feel sure it must be simple.

Help!

<a href="[enter your website address here]">[enter what text you want them to click here </a>

That ahould sort you out. It's the HTML code for a hyperlink. Keep the speech marks, remove the squared brackets

I must thank you for coming to my rescue BUT it did not work (this will be me that's stupid) - when I copied and pasted and inserted as shown - it all just appeared on the site, that is the whole code and howdidido.com sat smiling at me going nowhere!!

I did however revert to the howdidido.com and coloured it blue because that is the colour ,I think, if you are being directed to another site. So, if anyone complains I can say 'I can't understand why yours does not work!'
