Hey All,

Annual Golfing trip coming up this weekend and I've just noticed the weather predicts that it will be lashing it down. I'm after a new waterproof jacket and probably trousers.

What do people recommend?

TIA

The default forum reply for a top is the Footjoy Hydroknit. It seems to be a brilliant bit of kit and more versatile than a standard waterproof jacket.

Beyond that, Sunderland and ProQuip do great waterproof gear. It is their specialist area, that has to help. I have a Sunderland jacket at the moment and it is comfy to wear and not a drop gets through.

The other one to look for, any make that uses Goretex. It's brilliant stuff and if you see a bargain UA Goretex suit on offer, as an example, then snap their hands off.

I appreciate I have mentioned jackets more than trousers. I have FJ trousers, ebay purchase, and a Sunderland jacket. No need to match up, unless the thought of not doing so freaks you o_O. Get trousers as either part of a full suit or just buy them separately. There are usually back model trousers on offer somewhere. Any of the big names will be fine.
