I've seen a few posts on here suggesting waterproof socks as a worthwhile investment for the inevitable cold wet autumn/winter...

Anybody got any specific recommendatons (make/model)?

Are Sealskinz the best, any decent competition?

Cheers in advance

I have used sealskinz for the past 5 years, the ones I have are thicker but I don't sweat in them.

I think people are trying Dexshell ones at the moment , which are cheaper but have decent reviews, they are also thinner I believe.

Having tried to use waterproof socks for moutnain biking, I find them too think especially for golf shoes. I prefer to try and proof my shoes instead:)

Join a Links course to play over the winter, you won't need waterproof socks.

Never had a problem with a good pair of shoes and short grass.
