My body survived the down pour last weekend but everything in my bag didn't and my club grips were far wetter than they would've been if I'd carried them without a bag.

Looking at cart bag reviews, none of them really specify how waterproof they are with the exception of the sunmountain H2NO which I don't like.

Can anyone recommend a cart bag which will hold up to what a british winter can throw at me? I'm looking to pay around £100 but will take on board more recomendations.

Thanks in advance....

By the way....I do empty and air my bag after a round in the rain and I am just looking for a cart bag which hold up to very wet rounds.

Don't get a Powakaddy cart bag, because they are definitely not waterproof for very long in persistent rain. To be honest, IMO, none of them are as waterproof as the adverts suggest. If they were, then why have the plastic sheath covers suddenly found themselves a market?

I don't think there are many that are totally waterproof. I know the Sun Mountain H2O carry bag is pretty good but I don't know of any trolly bags that are as waterproof. I use this which is ok ish (about 6.5 out of 10)

but I also have an umbrella holder for my go-kart which at least keeps most of the rain of my clubs and lets me keep a towel dry to wipe of the grips.

Unless you get one of those all over plastic covers I'm not sure how you'l solve the problem other than get an umbrella holder to keep the clubs dry at least. I tend to put spare towels and gloves in bags inside the cart bag so at least they stay dry.

Get the Powakaddy cover for £25. It does the job fine. Or the Hillbilly one, same difference. Any old bag underneath. Also the umrella holder helps while you are getting clubs out.
