Had a go with one at the golf show last year. Good fun for 5 mins but wouldn't be a place for it in my bag. Nothing wrong with opening the SW!

A friend who had welding gear once bent a Vokey to over 80*, in fact I think it was a couple of degrees more. He had the skills to regrind the bounce and add the removed weight so it was done right. It was hilarious. No-one could hit it more than 30yds with a full shot, and that was a rarity as it was near impossible to use as you always went under the ball.

Re the putter - is it such a bad plan for practice? I used to get made to practice my batting with a bat no thicker than a stump which made the real bat in a match seem huge!! If you can hit the middle of that thing then surely you would middle more putts with your gamer. Wedge looks daft and would be interested to see if the driver worked. Obviously not going to buy any of these things though....

Can't believe anyone would buy these clubs but clearly there is a market (US??????) out there. Not for me and I'd rather a chipper than an 80 degree wedge

It looks like it would be fun to try but would never use it on the course just a bit of a gimmick club for one shot like the chipper.
