For me, the interesting thing in that video was not the way the kids treated each other, but the way they thought of themselves when they were told they were inferior. They believed it. Test scores dropped overnight, just because they were told they were 2nd class by someone in authority!

Oh, and if you don't understand the difference between an insult and someone trying to take ownership of that insult and neutralise it then there really is no hope....

This is a bit long, but it was a classic pyschology expirement, we studied at "A" level. It was born out of a lack of understanding of how nazi guards in the concentration camps mainly replied the same to the question "How could you carry out these acts?" The main answer being "I was just following orders."

Sounds like the recent committee meeting at my club where the Chairman gave word of what will and won't be happening in the club.... to all the sheep sitting there listening to the garbage he was spewing whilst running the club into the ground. Some 'committee' we have.....!!

Positive reinforcement from figures of authority having an immediate effect on the abilities of test subjects.... Come on P-S, try to have an opinion on a post rather than just attempting to increase your post count...
