This proves like anything else in the world money dictates what happens, We have had to leave out a couple of good players due to the fact they have concentrated their efforts on chasing the elusive and very lucrative golden carrot (Fedex cup) across the pond.

Not only have we lost out on players now we have had to reschedule the most spectacular golfing team event on the planet and I now fear after Gleneagles in 4 years time the UK might be over looked in future years as it will deemed unreliable due to the weather.

I don't think the UK will be overlooked for good as the plan has always been about expanding the RC into other European venues but I do think it brings into question how high a priority the RC is particularly for the US. I'm sure desite Pavin saying they are all honoured to be there that unless there is a resolution to the Fed Ex v RC scheduling that allows the RC to move back to an earlier slot whichever venue, UK or Europe will struggle with climate at this time of year.

I totally agree I just think when it is played in the Uk it will have to be played at links courses and not as often as it has been in the past from 2002 belfry,2006 K club, Celtic manor and Gleneagles in 2014 and we will see a lot more courses on the continent especially Spain and Portugal hosting this great event.

I would doubt there is anywhere bigger than the UK for revenue ( ticket sales)
on this side of the Atlantic.

Maybe Spain would be close?

Sorry my good man, but there has been no rescheduling of the GM Forum Scotland vs England Match that I know of ;)
