I had a shot of Bobs last weekend and I have to say I was very impressed with it. Good quality build-wise and seemed decent reading (when I wasn't shaking).

Apart from the fact he bought hooky batteries  :p

Screen is free of marks a few small marks on units case itself but all in good working order.

Comes with Hardcase & USB transfer / Charger cable plus instructions. I would transfer my account into your name also giving you a further 6 or 7 free courses to add to the device (usually £3 for life per course)

Thanks, I will have a think.

Contacted you Moff. As for the Hillman. You'd be doing well to buy second hand for less and it performs every bit as good as a bushnell. Just avoid ebay for batteries I got duff ones. Either that or go for the slightly more expensive TM-1500 which uses nice old AAA's.

Yea I'm going to buy the hillman Friday. Thanks for the good advice :)

You will not be disappointed. It's best from around 150 in. The scan function is also useful as if you can't lock the pin you can move around and lock in on something relevant (front of green etc). Don't rush with them though. I used mine yesterday but was playing from another fairway so rushed the shot. measured 110 yards to the pin. Hit the ball and it traveled 110yards into crap at the back of the green! I had scanned the vegetation to the back on the pin by accident!
