Walton Heath

I heard we had some Walton Heath members play at my Club recently. They played in plus fours, tweed jackets, socks with garters. Their clubs were hickory shafted and they had old leather pencils bags. Hopefully they got home in their horse and carriage.

There were a few like that about and tweed jackets etc but the odd person I spoke to or said hello to were friendly enough

We found the course quite, we were the second 3 off with 4 balls behind, didn't get held up all day or get pushed along also

It's definitely a step back in time playing there and visiting the clubhouse after but I'm glad you played reasonably well and enjoyed the day
