Just a shame England can't sustain tour events any more and we're subjected to crap like this weeks tournament.

To right, i used to go and watch this at wentworth, the top players in the world used to play, this to me, is a total embarssment to the great names who won this title, and the format is rubbish !

Not really...Needing a win, 3UP with 5 to play, all i can say is Ogilvy threw it away, Van Pelt was only -1 thru them 5 holes, just shows how bad Geoff closed out the game,

Shame i'm a tenner down but not to worry

Everything in Bulgaria is massive VFM, last year we took my 2 kids with us and ate out everynight. Every night a 2 course meal each for the kids with a couple drinks each, 2 courses for me & HID bottle wine and coffees and the most expensive night out came to £14!

Went to watch football in bar one night on my own with a couple we met out there as HID hates footy, I got through two 4 pints jugs of cocktails another jug of lager and finished the night with a couple of brandy's and it pounds sterling I spent a grand total of £12.50 i

Its amazingly cheap. I went over to watch Chelsea play in Sofia, landed around lunchtime, taxi to hotel, straight out on it, after bars, food, clubs and more taxi's I got in around 4am and spent about £15.00. Was hoping to pick up some cheap designer gear but that was expensive. I stayed in a 5* hotel called the Kempinski and some taxis wouldn't take you back to it for some reason! I was there 4 days and the hotel cost only £75.00, it was as good if not better than the Grosvener!

Not very nice on the eye around the capital but mates have now bought and built property's out their.

Be a great cheap excursion for an overseas GM tour/meet

Goto the resorts outside of the main Centres and your designer gear really is cheap as chips. Wouldn't mind a Golfing excursion there at all and the local ladies are certainly nice on the eyes.

I love matchplay but cannot for the life of me get into this event whic is a shame as the course is amazing. I think this world matchplay title that meant so much in the era before the current bunch has done its day simply thanks to the Accenture WGC Matchplay and its prize fund.
