I went out this evening for a few holes with my youngest son and took the video camera with us. Oppp's maybe a mistake. I got my son to stand behind me while hitting my driver off the 2nd tee. God my swing is so flat, I would up load it here but dont know how to. Any ideas how I can get rid of the flat swing. I'm trying to keep my left arm straight as much as possible but still I'm flat.
Any ideas greatly received

Try and keep the back of your right hand (if right handed) going straight back for as long as possible and let the club come up naturally and vice versa going through. Hope this helps :)

i often have that problem. Just feel as if you are swinging REALLY steep and it will probably look normal.
Of course if you do that for quite a long time you will have a steep swing and will have to swing flat again...happens to me

Why would you do that? that will take the club outside the line.

The swing is an ARC, another word for CURVE.
Straight lines and curves don't go together.

Just to stop going too flat in the swing. I should have said take it back straight for about 6-8 inches then let the club come up naturally which will eliminate starting too flat in the first place.

Well Im glad we got you sorted there CC, imagine having to go and pay for all the advice dished out in this glorious thread!
I use photobucket to host my videos, from memory it only works for certain types of movie files and the larger the file, the longer it takes to upload and download afterwards.

It doesn't look flat to me.

Lots of other interesting points, but flat? No.

Swing's not flat imo, half way back the butt of the club points at the ball pretty much. The club is just laid off at he top - that's from a bowed wrist.

Nice action - I wouldn't tinker too much except maybe flatten the wrist to get the club pointing down the line at the top as currently you'll need to correct that somehwere before impact.

If my back leg was that straight, i think i'd probably hit a fat!!!

really though, i know nothing about your swing, but like your jacket ;)
